SCIENTISTS HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTED THE BRAINS OF 3 PEOPLE, ENABLING THEM TO SHARE THOUGHTS

Neuroscientists have effectively connected a three-way brain connection to let three people share their thoughts – and in this situation, play a Tetris-style game. The group of scientists which achieved thisthinks this wild test could be scaled up to link whole networks of humans, and yes, it's as bizarre as it sounds.
It works through a mixture of electroencephalograms (EEGs), for scaning the electrical signals that show brain activity, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), where neurons are stimulated using magnetic fields.

The scientists behind this amazing new method have dubbed it BrainNet, and say it could ultimately be used to link many different brains together, even across the internet.

This whole technique will also help researchers understands human brain in more detail and depth.

The researchers write "We present BrainNet which, to our knowledge, is the first multi-person non-invasive direct brain-to-brain interface for collaborative problem solvingThe interface allows three human subjects to collaborate and solve a task using direct brain-to-brain communication."

The same group of scientists has before been able to link up two brains effectively, getting partakers to play a game of 20 questions against each other. The signals in this case only refered to "yes" or "no".
