Is the Mars One mission the largest hoax in history?

The college, from Trinity College’s School of teaching in Dublin, has called for the company to ‘own up’ to the information that there will never be a mission to Mars.
Dr Joseph Roche claims that there have been far less applicant for the mission than the 200,000 Mars One claim had volunteered for a one-way task to the Red Planet in 2025.
Roche also says that corporation lawmaking body listening carefully purely on earning money, went back on promise to meet applicants in person, and seemed to have a laissez-faire approach to safety.
It has not been disclosed how a great deal money the company has taken in donations for its proposed mission.
An MIT learn into the mission last year suggested that the astronauts would die within days of inward on Mars – and Roche said that the organisers were offhand about safety.
Roche says, ‘After implementation the interview stage I felt that the assortment process was not rigorous enough to reach the necessary standard of more traditional astronaut selection programmes.
‘I have had the pleasure of gathering and working with several astronauts and if you spend any time with an astronaut you will soon see that they are as close to life form superhuman as a being can be. To select such a person requires a complete and exhaustive procedure.
Instead, Mars One ‘chose’ candidate purely for their capacity to garner publicity – and make money.
Roche says that candidate were urged to do interviews for money, with the corporation saying, ‘If you are obtainable payment for an interview then feel free to accept it. We do gently ask for you to donate 75% of your profit to Mars One.’
Last month a list appear with “the top 10 candidates” for the Mars One mission. This catalog was put jointly after “the organisers ranked the candidates by points”. These points are “Mars One follower points” which “stand for the degree of your hold up to Mars One’s mission”. These points serve only to show how much each follower has donated to Mars One.
‘I think that the shortcoming of the selection process, joined with their unwillingness to engage and collaborate with the technical community, means that the time strength have come for Mars One to acknowledge the implausibility of this exacting venture. They could then perhaps turn their efforts towards behind other exciting and extra viable space missions.
